SAP Note 184514 - Deleting configuration profiles with ECM

Component : Configuration Profile -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/184514 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
Users are currently unable to delete configuration profiles using engineering change management (ECM) when the configuration of all related objects predates the expiration date. The issue, identified as a programmatic error, affects several SAP releases, including 4.5B, 4.6A, and 4.6B, within specific support packages. Corrective measures include the creation of the function module "CUCP_CHECK_DEL_PROFCNT_CONF" to assess the deletion eligibility of configuration profiles related to configurable objects. Additionally, message CU890 has been introduced for handling potential inconsistencies during profile deletion where object configurations are outdated.
