Summary :
The SAP Note describes the functionality and scheduling of EU jobs (EU_INIT, EU_REORG, EU_PUT) in the ABAP Workbench environment. These jobs are essential for the maintenance and updating of various indexes (such as where-used lists and object lists) which support efficient navigation and object management within SAP systems. EU_INIT job rebuilds the indexes and should be run initially or after significant changes. EU_REORG is scheduled nightly to reorganize these indexes to minimize system load during operational hours, and EUPUT updates indexes considering new changes or transported objects. These jobs can be activated manually through SAPRSEUJ if necessary. For error tracking and management, specific procedures are in place for different SAP releases.

Key words :
manually executing program saprseuj, repository information system reason, customer-defined development objects, customer-defined programs, correspondingly long runtime, grave syntax errors, concluding inverted comma, starts program saprseui, eu jobs analyze, sap transport system
