SAP Note 176927 - Transceiver component becomes unnecessary

Component : Transceiver -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/176927 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
SAP has discontinued the transceiver component due to its redundancy after the introduction of new BAPI-based interfaces, replacing traditional KK1 and KK2 interfaces. Users should transition to new interfaces, HR-PDC-4.5 and PP-PDC-4.6, which are available from releases 4.5 and 4.6, respectively. These new interfaces provide all functionalities previously covered by older interfaces. Although transceiver support continues up to SAP Basis release 6.10, it's unavailable from release 6.20 onwards. Migration is particularly urgent for users on LINUX or requiring UNICODE support, as the transceiver will no longer be maintained or supported in these environments.
