Summary :
In SAP release 4.5B and earlier, foreign trade data for delivery and invoice headers and items are checked for completeness automatically by a hard-coded incompletion procedure when identified as exports. This involves comparing the country codes of the shipping point and the ship-to party. Key fields verified include transport modes, office of exit, commodity code, and export procedure. From release 4.5A, the incompletion procedure is configurable via customizing transactions VI29 and VI49; if no configuration is set, the system defaults to the hard-coded check. User-exits via V50EPROP allow for additional flexibility in controlling this process.
