Summary :
When a tablespace with objects enabled for deferred segment creation is dropped without specifying "INCLUDING CONTENTS," it leads to corrupt dictionary data issues. This causes errors such as ORA-00604 and ORA-00959 when trying to access objects within the non-existent tablespace. Oracle bug 13326736 addresses this issue and patch fixes are scheduled in various SAP Bundle Patches for UNIX and Windows systems post-March 2012. Organizations should use the "INCLUDING CONTENTS AND DATAFILES" clause to avoid such problems and consider restoration from backups if faced with these errors prior to patch application.
