SAP Note 1645622 - MsSSuspendCheck no write within 40 secs

Component : Dispatcher, Task Handler - Message Service

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1645622 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In transaction SM51, an instance may not be displayed if the message server disconnects after not receiving data within a predefined timeout, set at 40 seconds by default in the ms/suspend_check parameter. This issue could be exacerbated by delays in the 'Reverse Name Lookup' function tied to the rdisp/reverse_name_lookup parameter. Effective solutions include disabling the reverse lookup function or updating the system with a patch that handles extended lookup delays better, thereby preventing communication blockages between the dispatcher and the message server. Using transaction RZ11 or the niping program can be instrumental in diagnosing and mitigating this issue.
