Following an upgrade from SAP NetWeaver BW 7.00/7.01/7.02 to BW 7.30/7.31, inconsistencies may arise with the RSMDATASTATE table for certain InfoCubes, particularly those with unrebuilt BWA indexes. Operations like rollups fail under these conditions. This is attributed to a program error. The resolution involves executing the RSDDTREX_AFTER_UPGRADE_70X_73X function module, which should rectify RSMDATASTATE entries for affected InfoCubes. Additionally, importing Support Packages 06 for BW 7.30 (SAPKW73006) and 02 for BW 7.31 (SAPKW73102) upon their release can help. Advance correction is available for urgent cases, following the guidelines from Note 875986 concerning SNOTE.
