Summary :
In an SAP Process Integration (PI) context, SOAP requests originating from the PI Integration Engine (IE) experiencing multiple namespace definitions for the same XML attribute cause parsing errors and processing failures particularly under Quality-of-Service settings of Exactly-Once (EO) or Exactly-Once-in-Order (EOIO). Such errors lead to system errors and message queue holds due to unsuccessful retries. The issue arises due to non-best practices compliance in SOAP message construction per the WS specification. The prescribed solution involves applying code corrections via updates or patches as outlined in SAP Note 952402, which assists in resolving these namespace conflicts in the SOAP documents. Manual interventions such as cancelling the first queued message are recommended as a temporary workaround to alleviate queue blocks.
