Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues where the HTTP message server port setting in SMD agent configuration does not match the managed system's actual port setting, leading to connection errors during system diagnostics setup. The port mismatch generally occurs due to manual changes to the port numbers from the 81 default. To resolve, verify the correct port using the dev_ms file of the managed system and update the SMD agent properties via SOLMAN_WORKCENTER under Agent Administration. The correction should then be followed by an SMD agent restart. The permanent fix is provisioned from LM-SERVICE 7.01 SP09 onwards.
