SAP Note 15760 - Using SAPMACO for constructing matchcodes (A,S,P)

Component : ABAP Dictionary -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/15760 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
Matchcode records are not displayed properly even after maintenance of associated Data Dictionary objects. The transition from SAP Release 4.0 has seen Matchcode objects being automatically converted into collective search helps, and Matchcode IDs into elementary search helps. Physical matchcodes, stored as separate tables, require construction using Report SAPMACO and are manipulated through a matchcode utility that operates across all clients. Parameters allow control over construction and deletion specific to client or matchcode ID. Each function within the utility executes specific operations for matchcode maintenance and monitors via the utility log.
