Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues with error messages BRAIN 241 and BRAIN 243 when checking or generating queries containing variables in SAP systems. Such problems arise due to misalignments with saved variables in the RSZGLOBV database table, which are linked to variable type restrictions (VARTYP). Over time, variable functions have evolved, resulting in refined validation rules not adhered to by legacy variables. A program, SAP_GLOBV_CHECK, has been introduced to automatically validate and correct database entries. Users have various options to review and manage corrections, ensuring adjusted variables conform with existing standards, while maintaining the option to revert changes post-implementation. The program ensures that the variables function correctly prior to regenerating related queries.
