Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues in the batch management process for stock transport orders. When users input a batch in a delivery document, the system fails to reserve it, leading to discrepancies in the availability check and errors in the display. At the root of the problem, the planning functionality between the delivering and receiving plant does not account for batch levels while relying only on order data. Due to significant changes required for a fix, the issue remains unresolved in Release 3.0 and earlier versions. Users are advised to consider this limitation during batch processing and plan accordingly.
