Summary :
Within SAP word processing (via form processing or report RSTXR3TR text import), operations halt when Table STXL is accessed, notably on SINIX, but also on other platforms. Sessions cannot be terminated normally (SM04 -> Delete session). Environment details: SINIX ≤5.41, Oracle ≤7.0.16.6.2, Windows NT (SAP Release 3.0). Causes are unknown, with attempts to analyze the ORACLE communication bug failing. As a solution, restart the work process through SM50 and use TWO-TASK for database connection, eliminating issue with Table STXL access. For Windows NT, consult Notes 31559 and 31563. UNIX-specific workaround involves altering the startup script in the user home directory.
