Summary :
Poor performance in creating/editing production orders, networks, plant maintenance requests, and projects (CO01, CN21, etc.) is affected by various factors. Customers should consider data volume/constellation, scope of performed functions, and technical parameters. Re 1) Minimize complex access sequences when selecting BOMs/routings and adjust conditions in pricing to avoid unnecessary planned cost calculations. Re 2) Deactivate availability checks and routing data checks during order creation. Re 3) Utilize SAP's monitoring tool for system buffers. Ensure DDIC-relevant buffers exceed 95%, with program buffers at minimum 40 MB, application-specific servers, and at least 256 MB memory in application servers for optimal performance.
Key words :
tools -> administration -> monitoring -> performance -> tune/setup buffers, sap 'early watch service', pricing/calculating overhead rates, order type dependent parameters, creating/editing production orders, operations -> availability check -> control, monitoring tool exists, determine overhead rates, ddic-relevant buffers, production activity control
