When using the SPED output for the two-step stock transfer process, Handling Units (HUs) automatically transfer from outbound to inbound deliveries. Reversals of goods receipts and subsequent HU de-assignments can lead to issues where reassigning HUs to the original outbound delivery becomes impossible, indicated by message HUFUNCTIONS 322. Attempts to create a new inbound delivery post-deletion result in an error due to HU item quantity exceeding the packing capacity of the delivery, driven by system-attempts to reassign HUs erroneously considered still in transit. The remedy entails source code corrections allowing manual reassignment of HUs to new inbound deliveries with SPED.
