SAP's Virus Scan Interface (VSI) allows integration of external malware products through NW-VSI 2.00, a certified interface. Certification for these products, which is valid for three years, can be verified or requested through SAP's Integration and Certification Center (ICC). NW-VSI 1.00 is obsolete, and related certifications are no longer valid. Anti-virus solutions should offer SDK packages for compatibility with NW-VSI 2.00.
