Summary :
An SAP query may fail due to Oracle bug #9064888, reported as ORA-00600 with arguments related to "BITMAP CONVERSION TO ROWIDS". This is largely observed on Oracle versions 10.2.0.4, 10.2.0.5, 11.2.0.1, and 11.2.0.2. Detailed investigation reveals that this error occurs when the Oracle Cost Based Optimizer is executing the "BITMAP CONVERSION TO ROWIDS" optimization. Oracle bug #9064888, a duplicate of bug #9770451, has been addressed with patch 9770451 incorporated in several SAP Bundle Patches (SBP) for specified Oracle versions. For immediate resolution, the parameter '_b_tree_bitmap_plans' can be set to FALSE in Oracle 10.2.0.4.
