Summary :
In the SAP SOAP Sender Adapter, an issue has been identified where HTTP 200 responses with an empty SOAP envelope are returned for asynchronous calls, contrary to the WS-I Basic Profile Version 1.1 standards, which stipulate that one-way operations should not return a HTTP response containing an envelope. The empty envelope issue stems from a program error. To resolve it, apply the recommended patch and adjust the SOAP sender channel settings to include an additional request parameter, "responsecode202=true", to ensure the adapter instead issues a correct HTTP 202 response with no content upon successful message acceptance.
