Summary :
During the ACT_UPG phase of the SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4 upgrade, errors occurred preventing activation of specific search helps, such as "H_PAD_CN_PASSRULE" and "H_T5EAE", logged in file ACTUPD.ELG. This issue is due to a mismatch between the search help parameters and the data elements in their selection methods, affected by EHP modifications which should have prompted automatic adaptations. These misadaptations are traced back to incorrect runtime assumptions treating the search helps as outdated models incompatible with automatic adaptation. The solution involves updating the DDSHLPVERS table to reflect correct change timestamps, followed by reactivation of the involved selection methods to properly implement and activate these search helps. Transport requests provided in SAP Note 13719 facilitate this update.
