SAP Note 1448418 - HOLDEXE entries in ARFCRSTATE and SAP Business Connector

Component : Business Connector - Queued RFC (qRFC) and transactional RFC (tRFC)

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1448418 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
Many ARFCRSTATE table entries with HOLDEXE status are causing delays in processing tRFC and qRFC in SAP systems, traced back to SAP Business Connector transactions set as "Committed." Non-automatic ConfirmTID triggering by the Business Connector, intended as a security measure, requires external callers to confirm transaction IDs post-receipt to avoid duplicates and ensure data integrity. For handling confirmTID, see SAP Adapter Guide sections or implement in routing rules cautiously per described risks. Update Business Connector to the latest service release and clear ARFCRSTATE as necessary.

Key words :
sap business connector api -> miscellaneous services -> wm, transactional remote function call, queued remote function call, business connector receives idocs, sap adapter guide 4, sap business connector, significant performance losses, service release lower, partner manager -> forward, latest service release
