Summary :
During data transfer to demand management in SAP, withdrawal quantities, if present, are deducted from the transferred plan quantities. Consequently, only the net quantity—the difference between transfer and withdrawal quantities—is stored as the plan quantity in demand management. This subtraction does not occur with manual data entry via Transaction MD62. Users requiring alternative behavior can adapt the system through modifications. For optimal resolution, especially post Release 4.0, implement SAP Note 180999 before modifying as outlined in the current note, enhancing system accuracy in demand management processes.
