Summary :
When posting an invoice in a foreign currency using transaction MIRO in SAP, entering a tax base amount on the "Tax Data" tab that is lower than the system-calculated amount can trigger error F5 703 "Balance in local currency". This error occurs due to legal changes, referenced in SAP Note 1298748. The error is addressed in Support Packages for Releases 4.70 through 6.04. Additionally, implementing advance correction instructions can rectify this issue prior to the support package application.
