Summary :
A process indefinitely awaits a number range buffer, appearing in SM50 with status WAITING and NUM reason. A SAPSYS user process attempting access to NRIV table coincides, neither finishing execution, leading to termination and a specific dump error. The issue stems from unavailability of buffered number range object intervals, failing to deactivate the buffer post-error, causing database locks. Recommended corrective actions include module correction, manual interval settings via SNRO for various objects, or applying a hot package to resolve.
