Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues in J2EE server nodes where communication channels display errors such as "Channel has internal error" and "Adapter is not registered." Such errors typically prompt users to refresh the entire CPA Cache, a process that retrieves data from the Integration Directory to update the XI data cache. To improve efficiency and performance, a new enhancement has been developed that allows for local synchronization of the cache from the database instead of pulling data from the Integration Directory, ensuring consistency across all server nodes without transferring new objects. This process includes setting a lock on cache objects during synchronization to halt message processing temporarily, resuming once the lock is released. The enhancement and its functionalities can be accessed via new buttons in the Communication Channel Monitoring section of the Runtime Workbench, ensuring operational status can be monitored post-synchronization. Security measures restrict access to cache synchronization features to authorized users only.
