Summary :
WebDynpro applications are not supported by Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0, resulting in an error message. This incompatibility is due to the release specifications of IE8. SAP has announced upcoming WebDynpro support packages that will enable compatibility: NetWeaver04, SP25; NW6.40, SP25; NetWeaver04s, SP20; NW7.0, SP20; NetWeaver04s, EHP1 SP05; NW7.01, SP05. Details on the release schedules for these packages are available at http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks. Two temporary workarounds until these releases include adjusting the Visual Administrator settings or changing the compatibility view settings in IE8. Full support for WebDynpro on IE8 will commence with these support packages.
