SAP Note 1321675 - Database error -10807 at OPC

Component : MaxDB - liveCache

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1321675 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
SAP Note addresses connection issues between MaxDB clients and MaxDB database instances on separate servers. If the connection is inactive for around 30 minutes, it is terminated with error messages indicating a closed connection or socket receive error. This occurs when the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 hosts the MaxDB database with TCP Offloading enabled, which can inadvertently close networking sessions. Disabling TCP Offloading via command prompt commands—'Netstat -t -n' to check status and 'Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED' to disable—resolves this issue.
