Summary :
The SAP PI 7.1 AF Messaging System, by default, does not persist audit logs of successfully processed messages, which are instead temporarily stored in a memory cache using a least recently used (LRU) strategy and are lost upon system restart. For unsuccessful message processing, logs continue to be stored permanently for troubleshooting. To enable logging persistence for all messages, akin to older XI/PI versions, adjust the 'messaging.auditLog.memoryCache' property in the XPI Service: Messaging System settings from 'true' to 'false', subsequently saving the changes and restarting the Messaging Service. Note, this may reduce performance.
