Summary :
When reversed CATS documents with a CATS date in technically open period 1 are transferred, the SAP system defaults to posting in period 1, even when a different posting date for period 2 is expressly indicated. This functionality is considered normal by SAP under the guidance of KB21, KB24, and CAT7. Users running Release 3.1H without Hot Package 67 or Note 162019 implementation will face this issue. From Release 3.1I onwards, however, this posting behavior changes to prevent such occurrences.
