The SAP Note clarifies the logic behind previous day assignments and outlines how day assignments are controlled through processing states 'A01' and 'A07' in table T705B. Initially, the first time event after midnight is assigned to the previous day if it occurs within an hour of the daily work schedule ending. Subsequent events are checked for explicit previous day association or are assigned based on their occurrence within the daily work schedule.
