Summary :
This SAP Note addresses the update required for the NIE format in alignment with changes published by Social Security on August 20, 2008. Previously, NIEs with 8 digits were supported, but now they must start with X, Y, or Z, followed by 7 digits and a control letter. The note provides correction instructions for HR SP ES27 and lists HR SP ES28.2 as the version supporting the updated format. Immediate manual implementations of the source code corrections are advised if necessary.
