The issue arises from multiple assignments of a single batch number due to modifications in the batch number assignment, particularly in the function module VB_NEXT_BATCH_NUMBER. To resolve this, check the modification and consider implementing SAP Notes 1035372 and 1062164. Additionally, inconsistencies should be managed by deleting modifications and setting appropriate parameters in EXIT_SAPLV01Z_002 and EXIT_SAPMM07M_010.
