SAP Note 12483 - OK code in batch input has no effect

Component : UI services, screen, batch input -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/12483 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
In English: The batch input OK code, input using the field BDC_OKCODE, has no effect due to various issues. Potential reasons include: 1) Typographical errors, with valid codes being "/11" or "=upd". 2) The ENTER key is assigned an OK code in the current screen, potentially overriding the batch input OK code. 3) The application does not respond to the OK code. 4) Foreground session with a pushbutton intercepting the ENTER key input. Solutions include correcting the OK code, modifying the GUI using transaction SE41, rewriting batch input for the application post-upgrade, and ensuring proper cursor placement when in the foreground.
