Summary :
SAP has identified that some versions of SAP JVM did not include JCE policy archives essential for installations and upgrades. This affects Java versions ranging from 1.5.0_09 to 1.6.0_07 used during installation or upgrade processes through SAPinst, or while initiating the SAP Upgrade Program and SAP Enhancement Package Installer. SAPinst requires these policy files for SSL communication in remote installation scenarios, where the installation is managed from a different host than the GUI server. Users must manually download and configure JCEO policy files on both local and remote hosts to commence installations or upgrades and avoid connection issues with SAPinst GUI.
