Summary :
In SAP SCM 7.0 and 7.01, production orders and PPMs continuously access container resources, improperly converting these to discrete accesses during PP/DS optimization. This could lead to suboptimal scheduling and potential overfill violations. Four resolution options can modify this behavior via an additional parameter in the DPS section. By setting 'ContinuousStorageFlow' to values 0, 1, 2, or 3, users can control when continuous access translates into discrete based on whether products are inputs or outputs and the activity's timing. Refer to SAP Note 578044 for guidance on this parameter setup.
