In the event of a system crash or similar incident, a batch input session might be set to status "Processing." To resume processing this session, navigate to transaction SM35 and overview the sessions. Place the cursor on the affected session and select Session -> Release from the menu. This action will change the session's status to "For processing" or "New," updating the counters and allowing the session to be processed again.
