Summary :
For SAP environments, SAP Note addresses the issue of converting logical system names where the existing report RBDPROSE is inadequate. A new transaction, BDLS and its associated patch are now available for better handling of the conversions. This patch can be found on SAP servers under saps_choice instances, specifically within general/R3server/abap/note directories. The solution is applicable from SAP Release 4.5B onwards, and the tool is included in standard delivery from this version. It is essential to ensure all IDocs are processed prior to conversion as existing IDoc records won’t be converted. Care should be taken during conversions in production environments and it's recommended to consult with an SAP specialist. Prior to initiating the procedure, assess impacts on related database tables and ensure synchronization of the table buffers post-conference.
