When attempting to create or maintain a Data Transfer Process (DTP) to load Master Data into a Characteristic in SAP NetWeaver BI, users may experience an error stating "Enter a valid Value" (00 002). This issue prevents users from progressing past the 'Update' tab in the DTP configuration. This error is attributed to a known program glitch. To resolve the problem, users of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI should import Support Package 19 (SAPKW70019), and users of SAP NetWeaver 7.1 BI should implement Support Package 07 (SAPKW71007).
