Summary :
In SAP table T006, the field ANDEC determines decimal precision per unit of measure, where three decimal places is the maximum. BOM explosions round component quantities to this precision, where non-decimal base units, like pieces, round up to the nearest whole number. Users can adjust rounding behavior in BOM explosions through the rounding flag Rnd in table TCSPR, selectable as always, never, or conditional rounding. The rounding settings directly affect material computations during BOM explosions, with significant implications on material requirements planning and inventory calculations. Release 31I corrects the issue of maintaining rounding flags via Customizing. Use Transaction SM31 to adjust the rounding settings directly in the TCSPR table if customizing access (Transaction OS29) is unavailable.
