Summary :
In the SAP GUI for HTML, there is an issue with the display of application buttons in the CUA toolbar, where they appear as full-text buttons without icons, affecting ease of use and visual integration. This behavior stems from changes introduced with the SAP NetWeaver 2004s and subsequent ITS releases. To revert to displaying icons with the buttons, administrators should adjust the ~webgui_icon_toolbar parameter in the service settings, such as in transaction SICF, configuring it to values "1" or "2" to enable icon display for application and system buttons, respectively. This setting ensures a more intuitive interface compatible with various Basis Support Packages.
