BR*Tools 7.10 patch 6 enhances Oracle 10g database management by incorporating the Flashback Database feature, which includes the new BRSPACE function "mfback" for managing flashback settings and restore points, and upgraded BRRECOVER functionalities allowing database recovery to specific points in time without reloading database files. These features are supported from Oracle 10.2 onwards, requiring a flash recovery area established. Commands and configurations are accessible via BRTOOLS/BRGUI or directly in the command line, facilitating both the activation and deactivation of the Flashback feature as well as managing restore points and viewing Flashback status.
