SAP Note 1120534 - WS Patch collection (1) for WS tracing and alerting

Component : Web Service and SOAP - ABAP -

Solution : https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1120534 (SAP Service marketplace login required)

Summary :
The SAP Note addresses an issue where the SRT_CCMS_DATA_COLLECTOR when initiated by AUTOABAP without a proper service destination in client "000" causes frequent "DESTINATION_NOT_OPEN" dumps every five minutes. This occurs with Web service alerting if the service destination setup is not followed as per Notes 822379 for SAP Release 7.0 and 954792 for Release 7.1. A correction is provided for systems on Release 7.00 with Support Package 14 and 7.10 with Support Package 4. Users have the option to manually implement the corrections or update their system via the recommended Support Packages SAPKB70015 and SAPKB71005. Additionally, steps are outlined for users using synchronous Web Service Calls without WSRM, requiring scheduled database table reorganization through "SAP_SRT_REORG_LOG_TRACE".

Key words :
terms web service tracing, web service reliable messaging, synchronous web service calls, web service database tables, higher-level batch job, import basis support package 14, web service alerting, standard batch job, abap runtime error, basis support package 4
