Summary :
Starting with Enhancement Package 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and 7.10, a new tablespace, SAPTOOLS, has been required for databases using DB2 V9.5 or higher to enable historical monitoring of database performance via the DBA Cockpit, transferring data to SAP Solution Manager BW. Users missing this tablespace are directed to create it. It's automatically generated if DB2's automatic storage management is enabled; otherwise, it must be manually created through the DBACOCKPIT transaction by accessing the "Space -> Tablespaces" menu and using the "Add" option. Enabling AUTORESIZE on the DMS tablespace is recommended.
