This issue occurs when performing large time-aggregated computations in transaction ST03N, particularly with the TOTAL aggregate. Prevention measures include using programs SWNC_COLLECTOR_COMPRESSION and SWNC_COLLECTOR_RECOMPRESS to reduce aggregate size, available from Basis Release 7.0 SP15, 7.01, and 7.11 onwards. Proper configuration through transaction SA38 and switch settings in the program can optimize data handling and prevent similar runtime errors. Compatibility details should be verified as some features may not be supported across all releases.
