Summary :
SAP systems will return error MLCCS 103 during closing entries if there are changes in the cost component structure for the main or auxiliary cost components in a given plant between periods. These changes risk data inconsistencies relating to the cost component split of beginning inventory differences and periodic unit price calculations. Modifying the system to ignore these changes is possible by adjusting error messages in transaction SE16 (or V_CKMLMVADMIN) using the CKMLMVADMIN table. Two parameter settings allow: forwarding with split adaptation to the subsequent standard price, or ignoring changes altogether, although this may compromise data consistency.
