Summary :
In the SAP environment, incorrect results were observed when generating Intrastat declarations via transaction MEIS due to errors in currency conversion between local, document, and declaration currencies, involving improperly used exchange rates. The underlying issue stems from utilizing incorrect dates for fetching exchange rates and the exclusion of manual rate adjustments post invoice posting. This has been corrected by allowing system date references (posting or document date) for exchange rate application and introducing a new parameter to select exchange rates directly from invoices. Compatibility specifics and additional database parameters must be noted, especially concerning performance implications and functionality availability in different SAP releases.
