SAP Note 109731 - Price control for split valuation

Component : Inventory Management -

Summary :
When a material is valuated under price control V, despite its material type default being price control S, issues arise in the creation of the MBEW record during goods movement. Specifically, price control S is applied from the material type, and as a result, a standard price of zero is pulled from the totals segment, leading to incorrect stock value updates. The discrepancy occurs because a standard price was not initially set for the totals segment, affecting individual valuation segments. To address this, validate settings to ensure that the correct price control and standard pricing are configured in the totals segment, fulfilling requirements for either S-price or moving average price control per individual valuation types or batches.

Key words :
additional key words batches, individual valuation types/batches, moving average price control, individual valuation types, individual valuation segments, moving average price, system works correctly, moving avarage price, quantity moved price, material valuated separately
