An update to info structure S014 is terminated with error message M2012 (Error determining posting period with variation C1) if the CAS sales summary is active. The issue arises because the fiscal year variant C1 has not been created in the system/client or has not been copied from the delivery client. The solution involves either ensuring the fiscal year variant C1 exists in the client by copying it from the delivery client or manually entering it. Alternatively, if the CAS sales summary is not used, the update can be deactivated. Finally, use Transaction SM13 to update the terminated records.
