Summary :
SAP Note addresses issues with transactions ST06 and OS07, primarily concerning operational data inaccuracies and deficiencies in usability, especially in virtual OS environments. The note introduces a new OS monitoring transaction, OS07N, from Release 6.20 onwards, replacing older versions with extensive improvements. These improvements include a redesigned user interface that meets accessibility standards and better system and application server data organization. Additionally, history data collection is now more flexible, leveraging the Central Performance History with options for mean value calculations over 30 days. Enhanced CCMS integration ensures all necessary monitoring data is available, even in environments without CCMS agents, through extended ABAP collectors. Users are advised to transition to OS07N or ST06 for improved monitoring efficacy.
