In SAP, when executing warranty claim actions (WTY) with FI postings through BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_CHECK and BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST, both BAPIs determine pricing for tax purposes. To suppress the internal tax pricing call in the BAPI interface, users should manually add an entry to the TAX_APPLI table. This entry should specify the application type for tax determination (SD) and indicate a bypass of tax recalculation. Using transaction SM31, add the specified settings to ensure that tax calculations do not reoccur internally. Refer to note 938458 if error message relating to KNUMH surfaces during posting. This setup is critical for system performance and correct tax handling.
