Summary :
This SAP Note addresses issues in the SPAM or SAINT upgrade, particularly during the CHECK_REQUIREMENTS phase when open data extraction orders are identified. To avoid problems post-upgrade involving ABAP Dictionary structure changes, all queues and open update orders across all clients should be processed before starting the import. This is executed via transactions SMQ1, SM13, and using reports for bulk processing such as RMBWV303. Additionally, setup table contents must be cleared using transaction LBWG and collective run reports. SAP Note 1083709 is recommended for checking all affected applications and tables that are not visible during the upgrade check.
